Mac Hammond Investigation

I know most of you have probably heard about the Mac Hammond investigation. I have followed it somewhat. I have spoken with a friend of mine and she said that; Mac doesn’t want an investigation done because they (IRS) wants to do things by their rules.

Now I personally do like Mac Hammond and I sure hope they don’t find any wrong doing because I have attended the church for many years and even worked in the ministry at the church. I will be shocked to find out if he’s done anything wrong. But in my honest opinion I’ve probably listened to hundered’s of his sermons both on tape and in person and he sticks to that bible like like there’s no tomorrow.

He always has us follow in the bible with him and sometimes even repeats verses with him. I can tell he’s a very annointed preacher and pastor. He’s been teaching for over 20 – 25 years!! I think if he was in it for the money that he wouldn’t have stuck with the church for so long. He has a lot of passion and conviction when he speaks and peaches.

Well…….I would think that they (IRS) would have to do things by their rules would they , they are the ones that are doing the investigation, correct?  I don’t see anything wrong with that at all. I’m trying to side with Mac Hammond and not the IRS.

Mac Hammond personally baptised me in the Holy Spirit. Mac – please don’t be hiding anything. I thought that all financial records pertaining to the church are and suppose to be public knowledge.

I would also like to add this comment to my article: That I have read statements in an article and correct me if I am wrong but I believe it was either Mac or Brian Sullivan who is the spokesman for LWCC and he said that they were very concerned about the integrity of the investigation and having
an official IRS officer doing the investigation.

Well I think personally that the church should be proactive in their search for an official officer of the IRS and allow them to do the investigation. If they have nothing to hide, then go ahead and just get things over with.  Let the church truely be cleared of the accusations.

States that Kenneth Copeland who is affiliated with Mac Hammond’s church states that he does not want to turn over financial records.

Here is an excerpt from the article read what he has to say :

Kenneth Copeland aggressively rejected the Senate Finance Committee request for records. “It’s not yours, it’s God’s, and you’re not going to get it — and that’s something I’ll go to prison over,” Copeland said at a meeting of prosperity ministers he sponsored in January.

Dealing with less prosperity, Mac Hammond’s church cuts back

(my opinion) Yes – this could be a direct hit from the economy and has absolutely nothing to do with the investigation or it could.
